Why so short in the front? Did I miss another option. Looks silly with the tiny front but is well made and lg heat mat fits perfectly inside a lg nest box, though I need to cut a hole in the wire for the cord if I don't set the nest box on top of the heat pad. The nest box would then rock on the heat pad's raised section though. Hmmm...
